The Dances at Wallowa Lake are scheduled every Friday night beginning in late June through the end of September. The dances are open to the public and held in the hall immediately adjacent to the Wallowa Lake Tramway. The music is provided by Jimmy Lloyd Rea and “The Rumble”, a band made up of experienced musicians from all over Eastern Oregon. The music is classified as Blues, “Old” Rock and Roll and Country. The dances begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at 10:00 p.m. Food and beverages will be served from 6:00 p.m. 10:30 p.m. There will be a restaurant area, a separate outside smoking area, and a no minors area as well as a dance floor. Prizes will be given for dance contests, raffles and door prizes. Tickets are $5.00.
