We're bringing it back! The 2007 Minam Motel Steelhead Fishing Spectacular drew anglers from all over Oregon and the world! So Minam Motel and Market, in conjunction with Wallowa Union Railroad proudly announces the 4th Annual Minam Motel Winter Steelhead Fishing Spectacular!

This year we have included many luxuries and options. You get a heated passenger car with hot lunch and beverages included in the price of admission. You can pick the spot on the river where you want to fish - the trains stops anywhere you want, You can bring your own raft to fish from and we'll pick you up. And guided tours are available (call in advance)! You will have up to ten miles along the Wallowa River virtually to yourself as it meanders through the wild and scenic the Wallowa River Canyon. The Wallowa River Canyon has been hailed as one of the best steelhead fishing and fly fishing spots in both the West and America.

We are LIMITING each trip to 25 anglers! No exceptions!
First come! First served! So book your reservations early!

Your fishing day begins at the Motel at an time after 6:00 a.m.
Enjoy a hot cup of offee and and cinnamon roll or muffin,
or purchase a fishing license, or other fishing needs.

Start fishing at any time after 6:00 a.m. at the Motel
or any location down river from Minam Motel.

The train departs from Minam Motel at 10:00 a.m. and returns at 4:15 p.m.
Price includes hot meal an beverage for only $50.00 per adult
and $15.00 for children under 14.

We also have half day trips. The train departs Minam Motel at 1:30 p.m.
and returns at 4.15 p.m. Price does not include meals or beverages,
but only $30.00 for adults and $10.00 for children under 14.

Motel rooms for the weekend are available on a first come - first served basis. We have a weekend package available for the avid fisherman or woman who wants to take the whole weekend out for relaxing fishing and a scenic train tour. Call for details!
